Are the new owners trying to speed up shipping? This is the only website I shop at that does not same day ship if order is in before a cutoff time. I ordered during the New Years sale and my order just shipped yesterday. Orders placed on a regular day take 2-3 days before processed. With the high cost of freight, it gets very frustrating waiting. There is no delay in taking my money off the credit card.

I haven't experienced any delays and placed a number of orders over the holiday sales. I don't expect same day shipping or a cut off time but I do think 24 hours is reasonable to expect an order to process and ship.

Probably hard to visualize, an entire wharehouse getting in, and shipping out truckloads of orders per day. Holidays must be hectic, and perhaps personell are worked to the bone during this season?

Yeah, I admit I've felt AG was a little slow at times, and perhaps thought it was the shipper, and the distance. Usually a good 5 business days minimum, and maybe add a day or two before items are packed and shipped. But of course I commonly opt for the great sales with free shipping.

Generally things ordered on a weekend sale show up the following Monday (8 or so days later). They seem to be a little better lately though...ordered a Flex 3401 Tuesday and it showed up today. Previous week ordered Rupes Mini on Tuesday, showed up Friday (3 days later) as well.

The only issue I have is UPS. FedEx gets merchandise here two business days faster.

My orders always seem ship within a day of placing. Last two were slower, but I chalked that up to the holidays and all the sales AG was running.

I beleive they try to ship same day if order is placed by a certain time, as that has been my experience. If you make a purchase during a sale, the volume of orders is naturally much higher so it takes more time to process. Not an excuse, just the reality of logistics.

I wish they used the Post Office for shipments to Canada.

Much cheaper and faster.

The post offices on Canadian side are the largest delivery company for packages.

They do a good job and you can track your packages.

Are talking being "picked and packed" before shipping? If so, I agree.

It doesn't bother me though, but it does seem slow.

This last order took 4 business days to be ready to ship. :dunno:
