I just got the door welcoming lights the one you put on the bottom of the door using 3M tape. My question is, is it safe to put it on the plastic trim w/o consequences after removal? If there will be any residue left what is the best product to remove it? The door trim is a matte textured plastic, my concern is that glue might penetrated in to grooves and will be hard to remove and by removing the glue the plastic might loose matte finish. Any suggestion?
