2015 z06

Dear Fellow AG Forum members,

A friend asked if I would detail his 2015 Z06, and I of course was more than happy to do so. I did in on New Year's Day as the weather was close to 50 degrees F and sunny - made for a perfect day. Sorry I didn't take any before pics, these are all after pics. Time was of the essence as we still have limited daylight hours and I didn't want to work indoors.

Wash = Griot's Brilliant Finish w/ MF mitt
Decontamination = Maguire's Clay
Polish/Sealant = McKees 37 360 w/ white LC CCS pads
Liquid Wax = Griot's Best of Show Liquid
Paste Wax = Blackfire Midnight Ivory Sun
Wheels = Pinnacle Wheel Cleaner followed by hand polishing with a cleaner wax
Tires = Griot's Long Last Tire Shine
Interior = DP Interior Cleaner/Interior Protectant
Glass = Invisible Glass

•Just an observation:
-In that lighting, the color on that
Corvette looks like Black Rose Metallic
(BRM)...a "new" color being offered
for 2017 model year Corvettes.

Usually see a lot of funky colors on cars down here in fla.But I haven't seen that beautiful color as of yet.

Bob yes the colors do indeed look similar. The one I did was blue in some light, and grey'ish in other angles. Slight tint of purple and green mixed into the metallic flakes. I'll ask the owner the official color name as you have me curious now :-)

Since it's a 2015 MY...
I'll bet that it's more than likely going
to be Night Race Blue Metallic (NRBM):
