Haven't been back for a long time, so I thought this will be a good post. I will winterize this weekend. Wash>clay>Klasse Sealant>...been wanting to try some new products too. Anyone with suggestions?

I'm going to be winterizing over thanksgiving weekend. My second winter so I'm going to do it right this time rather than put a coat of souveran on it and call it good. Going to go with DG 601/105 and collinite 845. Will maintain with ONR and AW.

I'm not looking forward to winter again :(

I've gotten two cars ready for winter so far. One recieved a nice polishing, Jeffs Werkstatt AJ and Collinite 845. The other recieved everything :). There's a total of 3 layers of Zaino Z5 on the vertical panels while the horizontals got clayed and polished, topped with DG 105. The whole car then recieved a layer of 845 and a few hours some OCW.

I have my girlfriend's car already done; 106ff, DG 601/105, & Collinite 476sx2. Still haven't gotten to my truck yet since we've been working on redoing our basement for the last 3 weeks. Hope to have mine done before Thanksgiving with the same process.

I think I may have winterized a month too early. I went with the Klasse Twins, WGDG Spritz Sealant and a coat of NR.

Had some nice weather today by me, so I did my winterizing. Washed the car real good with strong stuff to strip it down. Used DG105 for the first time. The jury is still out, but so far I like the product. Cleaned my interior up too and switched to my winter mats. Tomorrow I will wax it once, maybe twice. Either max wax or XMT180 if my order arrives.

My winterizing isnt that intense because the GTO stays in the garage whenever the roads are real nasty, and I drive the beater. I still want long lasting protection though because Im not a fan of detailing in the cold.

I got a coat of DG #601 followed by #105 already on 3 cars. Probably gonna use #16 as a topper on one of them, #476S on another, and #845 on a third.

I too just used the 105 for the first time. I used 105 and Zaino Z5 next to each other and IMO they are very similar and share some type of chemical makeup. One difference I noticed was that 105 dusted a lot but I could have been using too much product (even thoguh I used the same amount w/ Z5 and no dust). Can anyone compare the slickness of 105 to Zaino Z5 (original)? I'm pretty disappointed with the durability of Zaino ... the shine didn't really diminish all that much after 4 months but the slickness was gone and the beads were large, fat and sloppy. But almost everyone is using DG105 for winter, so it doesn't seem like a bad choice
