Excellent car, and excellent work!

(super small minor note: try to keep the audio level consistent throughout the video... either the music was way too loud, or the speech was way too soft... had to keep adjusting my volume)

Great job. Not on you or the installers but I still have no idea why anyone wraps their whole car. I've had PPF on my vehicles for 20yrs+ and never had a need nor issue that would call for a need to wrap the entire thing. Way over kill; but it's their money.

Beautiful car though and again, great job!

In those 20 years have you ever had a scratch on your car? Did you wish you could just magically peel a layer of film off and presto!, the scratch was gone?

That is why ;)

If I had a car that was worth that kind of money, and the additional funds to wrap it entirely in PPF, I certainly would. I've seen many documented accidents of minor hit & runs in parking lots, people bumping their garage, etc. where superficial damage was simply removed by peeling away clear bra and then protected again by reapplying it. Much cheaper than replacing/repainting a panel, and much less of a headache than dealing with body shops.

Honestly no. My cars have all been in fantastic shape. Door dings here and there yes, but nothing that damaged paint beyond a light buff after PDR.

Wife, yes, but no clear bra would have prevented damage she did. She's always nailed things like concrete posts and her side swipe of the garage wasn't an issue in terms of scratches or paint transfer, it was the corresponding dent above the wheel well that was the issue. Thankfully I pulled that and 8/12 door dings out myself. :)

^^ Great example but why the front of my car is wrapped. However, I've never seen a side panel or a rear qtr panel that hasn't creased or done more damage than just paint transfer. In the end though I keep $100 collision and $0 comprehensive deductibles so I don't don't need to worry about costs.

Again, in the end, to each their own. My bra is among the clearest out there and even with Xpel there's a difference in the appearance of where it's covered vs not. I wouldn't want to give up that edge in terms of appearance. That said, I'm not sure BMW has the best paint finish out there. Hopefully this one does, but I've seen many newer ones where orange peel is an issue thus perhaps it's not as notifiable. On my car, I wouldn't want to give up the edge as it has spectacular finish. I deal with the bikini line as it is but it's more of a talking point for me.

Ah, nice. Seems like I find new scratches and scuffs every time I was my wife's car. I rarely take mine anywhere besides work so mine isn't quite as relevant, but I'd still love to be able to peel away years of bumps, scratches, and scuffs. Definite full front wrap on nicer cars... I certainly agree with you there.

Thanks Zach, Yes I am very much learning how to do videos. The video seemed to have the right audio levels before I rendered and then after I published it I noticed that this was not the case. The good thing is they can only get better right!

A very minor detail in an otherwise very enjoyable video! We keep saying we want to do more videos, but can't find the time to get to it... Keep them coming!
