Winter is officially here in North Dakota. Two straight days of blizzard conditions with several inches of snow and winds up to 50mph!

When the snow comes that means the snow plows are out putting down sand, salt and beet juice all over the roads. Here is what our van looks like now...:bat:

I'm sure glad I got it coated in October and hope it helps protect the surface. We have about 5 more months of winter left.

I spent 7 years in Syracuse, NY. I don't miss this sight at all. Coating will definitely make clean up easier and protect your finish.

I was about to suggest a coating for the harsh winters... then I noticed your car was already coated. Only way I'm comfortable in winter time, a good coating or a select few non - coating lsps.

I give you gentlemen a lot of credit for living in such conditions.

I'll take the Texas heat, anytime, over what you guys experience. Stay warm.

That' muck is coming our way soon unfortunately. What I hate most about it isn't the dirt, it's the fact that winter is when rocks and debris seem to fly around more.

Usually my hood and roof are the only parts of the vehicle you can tell the true color during winter! Never had my hood look like that, were you by chance driving underneath the beet juice truck?

Need a nice steam pressure washer to blast that stuff off throughout.

The Daughter is across the way from you at Minot. Just looked and it is -12 there right now. I had my fill of those days many years ago but now cannot take the Summers in Az. at 62 years old. Guess I am destined to be a snow bird.

You can always put more layers on. You can only take so much off.
