Hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving.

Hers my Plan.
I have a 2016 Black Toyota Tacoma truck. Finish is great but there are a few swirls. Gotta love a black finish :buffing: . It is a lot of upkeep. Anyway, The Plan is hd speed using my pc 7424 xp. after that , I have some Collinite 845. May do two coats of the colinite a day apart. After all of this , I could do some carnauba wax if necessary. . By the way, I chose this path from experienced members here. Thanks for the advice. So , Does anyone see an issue with going this route? Thanks for your opinions.

No issues. HD Poxy would be another good choice. Have fun.

Yeah, that's way too many steps. You've got the Speed which has a sealant or a wax in it, depending on what source you look at, then you're applying two coats of another wax (845), and then you want to top it with a "carnauba wax if necessary". Save your arm and just do one application of 845 after your Speed and then eat some turkey.

You're gonna love Speed.....either topper choice would be great. I recently used Speed on my wife's 08 Sequoia, then topped with Pinnacle Signature Series II....awesome.

What color pad should I apply the hd speed with. Like I mentioned earlier, I have a few swirls here and there ,very light. I have orange black and white pads . Also some red ones

I love speed with my orange pads for a little more bite on the slight correcting ability it has. do 2 tests spots...1 orange, 1 white and study the results.

Well I posted but don't see it. Anyway, I got the truck done. Looks great. I'll post pics tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Do you already have a pad line and you're wondering what color within that line? Or you want a pad recommendation in general?

Thanks, I was looking for a pad recommendation as far as aggressive or polishing. I have completed the project and it came out great. I ended up using a combination of black and white polishing pads to keep a fresh pad. I am going to get pics here shortly.
