I got a bottle of Car Pro's HydrO2 over the summer. On the label, it states to use a dilution rate of 1:3. However, on Car Pro USA's website, it states 1:6. What dilution rate is correct?
I got it in August. Did the product itself change? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

1:3 is a strong dilution. A lot of people including myself have switched over to 1:6. Less chance of streaking issues and saves on product while still offering the same protection.

How is the shelf life after the dilution. For example if you make a 16 oz mix and only use a little bit on wheels only?

I would dilute it like crazy.once streaking occurs you will be wiping those streaks off and there not easy to remove.

I would just mix up enough for what you'll need at that time

I bought some not too long ago but haven't used it yet because I still have dome Hydro 2 lite left. But when I use it, I plane on diluting it 1:5 or 1:6. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully when using it, so it doesn't streak like mentioned by GSKR.

I have used it several months after mixing and not noticed a difference.

I used it yesterday and diluted 1:3. It streaked one panel a bit which I had to buff out. I prob didn't rinse it off well enough. The rest of the car was just fine.

Good product but very fussy to work with.last bottle for me.If they can make it where it deosnt streak than I'm all for it.wetcoat steaks alittle but not nearly as bad as hydro.I wipe on the wetcoat like a spray detailer with no water comes out slick and dark and color popping protected .spray on towel not on paint use one towel to absorb the other to do a final pass.
