Wet sanded with 3M trizact system. My first try with their product. This car was painted in a shop in the dead of winter last year.

1500/3000/5000 using PC DA

I've always said if there's enough paint on the car so there's enough paint to sand and buff then you can start with the worst looking paint job and turn out a show car finish. It's just a matter of sanding till the paint is flat and then buffing out your sanding marks.

In the regular world, (not the detailing world), most people think the PAINTER is the most important part of a paint job, as in they hire a great painter to paint their car project. While a great painter is important, at the end of the day it's the person that does the wet sanding, cutting and buffing that makes or breaks the paint job.

I clicked on your attached photos... the before and after difference is amazing.

3M Trizact sanding discs are top notch and the ABRASIVE TECHNOLOGY used in Meguiar's M100, M101 and even M105 is also top notch.

Anyone that's used a inferior compound AFTER using any of the above compounds would either think they are great at buffing or understand abrasive technology has changed and now with a quality compound it's easy to turn out a mirror finish on scratch-sensitive paint.

Can't wait to see the final results...
