Today i had the day off of school because we had open house last night. So i decided, since i was bored, to try and detail my engine bay. I was kinda nervous at first to tell you the truth but ive seen so many ppl do it here on the forum i was comfortable enough to try it out. It has never been washed/dressed so i never knew how my engine looked clean...

Method:
Rinse
Pre-soak with Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash via foam gun
Rinse
Simple Green APC (need to get some Meguiar's APC)
Let dwell for ~5 min
Agitated with soft brush
Rinse
Dried with leaf blower (worked really well :))
Dressed with Armor-All Tire Foam (Armor-All i know, only foam dressing i had :()
Wiped down for matte look

Here are the pictures:
*pictures coming soon when my camera charges*

Feed back please

Looks good man, today I cleaned up my truck using the a foam gun for the first time and had good results. I purchased DP engine degreaser but I was running out of light quickly so I will do it sometime during the week. Again great work on that engine bay.

Very nicely done! I too was worried the first time I did my husband truck engine, it was nasty. But I just took my time until I felt comfortable. You did a very nice job! :applause: Congrats! Now the trick is to stay on top of it ;)
