Finally finished this fantastic automobile. I ended up applying ZAIO with the Festool to correct some very light scratches, then applied Z5 Pro, followed by a Z8 spray.

And, the sun managed to poke through the clouds briefly!

Zaio? Was that your choice or owners request. Awsome, looks so wet.

Actually, the shop owner wants to be a premier Zaino shop. Tony from Zaino lives here in Kansas City and has been a big help in showing me which products are used for different applications. Personally, I would top it with Souveran to get the black depth the car is capable of. For the most part, this car is probably going to covered storage for the winter.

Nice job. :righton:

Seems like such a waste to spend all that time detailing the car and then to put a sealant on it instead of a high quality carnauba. Especially a car like that which will probably end up being a garage queen. So, durability isn't a factor.

Thanks pirex: I'm trying to get the shop owner to buy a lift like I have at the BMW shop. Those Ferrari's and Lamborghini's are murder to do the lower portion for this old man.

Hey toto,
Need you to do a big favor... you need to make a video of you using your rotary, that way we can see how it's done. Then post up here and make AG make it a sticky thread!!! that would be totally awesome!!

Well, I'm thinking of attending AG's Detail Fest 2008. If Meghan or one of the AG staff is a videographer (or can get one), that would be the ticket. I just don't have the editing capability to take a bunch of video and edit it down to a 10 minute-type instructional.
