What coatings on the market is more similar to repairing the top coat vs the traditonal coatings?

What coatings on the market is more similar to repairing the top coat vs the traditional "I should be the only one on top" coatings?

Or pretty much what coatings "can" have sealants/waxes on top? (ie the coating is not the slickest coating on the market so it allows for extra toppings)

None that I'm aware of.

Doesn't it usually takes some actual
paint...to repair the top-coat paint-film?

All Coatings "can" be topped with Waxes
and/or Sealants. To what avail though, is
often left to subjectivity.
