As the title says,
I have some new (one use....) microfiber that now have very tiny rust stains in them. (about half of a centimeter)

I don't want to throw them out, so worst case, I'd just use them for rims, or such.
Needless to say, I've already ordered a new washing machine.

What's the chance that they will now scratch any surface?
Is there any wash additive I can use to remove the rust?

Thanks!

I'm not sure I'd even trust them afterwards. Your call. What do you think caused it? Do you use well water ?

Sounds possible that you have a lot of iron in your water but seems like you would also notice this on your clothes too. Very wierd.

I probably would trust these towels for anything detail related either.

What about a spray of Iron X to dissolve and then rinse?
