Got near the end of my 32oz bottle of HD Speed and decided to put what was left into a smaller 8oz bottle.

Left it draining overnight to get all of it out but it felt "heavy." I went ahead and cut it in half to see if I could scrape any out. I got over 3oz of extra product out!

Heck, that's 3 cars worth of AIO!

Anyone else do this?

Gotta whip the bottle down, not just turn it upside down.

Btw, nice label on that bottle.

That's a great idea! As much as I like and use speed, I still haven't left a dent in my 32oz bottle.

Yeah, I too end up cutting up my product bottles as alot sticks to the base and walls-hate wasting.

It was more fun to hack the bottle in half! ;)

Good eye, grasshopper!

(I have a thermal label printer. The purple tape matches the Speed color! HA!)

I would think you'd end up with some plastic shavings in the mix after cutting the bottle. I'll pass

I used a scalpel. Clean cut!

For real huh? Good thinking.

Kinda like when I see people suggest you put a glass marble in your bottles of polish/compound... The thought of broken pieces of glass mixed in with my compound doesn't sound like a good results on the paint. As if shaking a bottle of compound was so damn hard anyways. Lol.

I like having speed and poxy in different bottles, since they look identical. I've caught myself a couple times grabbing the wrong bottle.

Razor blade is pretty clean, I guess a scalpel even more so.

This is a funny topic, because I was reading something about a new coating for the inside of consumer bottles, I think it was called Liqui-Glide. They said that consumers would love to have clear bottles for their food and cosmetic items, but the manufacturers don't want clear bottles because then the consumers would see how much they throw away that's stuck in the bottle. Apparently this patented technology allows even peanut butter to slide out of a bottle.

LItterally just did the same thing as I couldn't see tossing out so much product. My wife yelled at me for using a spatula or frosting spreader thingy.....
