Anyone know of a good clay bar on the market? I know Chemical Guys and Adam's Polishes have their own, but i'm not sure about the difference in quality. Are all clay bars basically the same material wise? I understand that there are some clay bars that are more aggressive but what do you guys recommend for a very light contaminated car? Thanks!

I use Pinnacle Ultra Poly. Nice stuff!

I've always had good luck with the ones Meguiars offers in their clay bar kit.

Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit, meguiars detailing clay, (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-smooth-surface-clay-kit.html)

This kit can be found everywhere. Another great bonus is the QD spray which comes with it. Love the stuff.

I've had good luck with the Mothers Clay kit, (http://www.autogeek.net/motcalgolcla.html) and just recently picked up some BlackFire clay, (http://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-poly-clay.html) while it's on BOGO, but haven't had a chance to use it. I use the included detailer as a lube with Mothers, and am mixing some Wolfgang Uber Rinseless (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-uber-rinseless-wash.html) as clay lube for the BlackFire.

I can highly recommend Nanoskin as I have the fine pad (http://www.autogeek.net/nanoskin-autoscrub-fine-grade.html), as well as the sponges (http://www.autogeek.net/nanoskin-speedy-prep-sponge-combo.html) and they all work great! I use the Glide (http://www.autogeek.net/nanoskin-glide-lubricant.html) lube with the Nanoskin.

Any of those will certainly meet your needs.

Mothers is a good all-around clay bar; very good. What I like about this one (and Riccardo's) is that they are very soft and pliable right at the get-go. I have used Meguiars and Wolfgang clay as well; they work but not as pliable.

I do like their clay, but is it offered on AG? Griots clay works well too.

Nothing beats the Pinnacle Clay Bar. Best there is hands down.

I've used the Blackfire PolyClay and the Griots Garage Clay bar. I like the Blackfire better...the Griots one is too soft

I've used:
Mothers Claybar Kit
Meguiars Claybar Kit
Poly Clay [from China]
3M Magic Blue Auto Clean Clay Bar [from China]
Griots Garage Clay
Meguiars Mirror Glaze C 2100 Aggressive Clay
And my favorite choice of them all, Meguiars Mirror Glaze C 2000 Mild Clay. IMO it provides the best feel and ease of use + works exceptional at removing contaminants. Good value [200 gm bar] Plenty of strengh [feels slightly more capable than the Meguiars consumer clay] Doesn't marr [never had it marr paint] *knocks on wood*

It does everything great, no negatives to this clay. Dare I say it's the perfect clay.

IMO 2nd best is Meguiars Clay Kit. Can't go wrong with this for most normL everyday situations.
Worst by far, that China Poly Clay. Didn't remove anything. 0% effective.
