2007 Porsche 911 turbo in a beautiful sample to order blue.

Repeat client of mine recently traded in his 2012 Turbo S with a PDK for this low mileage Turbo, equipped with a proper manual trans (how they should all come). This vehicle was in for my 2-step exterior correction, long term ceramic coating application, wheels off cleaning and coating, and a light interior cleaning.

Process:

Wash – Meguiar’s Hyper Wash and natural lambs wool mitt
Wheels – Sonax FE+ Wheel Cleaner & various brushes.
Tires - Cleaned with Megs D143 and Tuf-Shine brush. Dressed with Megs Hyper Dressing 3:1
Paint Prep – Griot’s Fast Surface Prep Mitt and Glide as lube
Paint Correction – Griot`s Fast Correct Cream on the G15 with BOSS MF pads followed by Optimum Hyper Polish on the G15 with yellow BOSS pads. Tight areas were done with the Flex PE14, Megs G110v2 and the Rupes Nano.
Glass – Megs D120 and Griot’s PFM glass towels
Coating Prep – ONR wipe-down followed by Opti-Prep
Coating – Optimum Gloss-Coat

I'm aware that bumper covers(generally speaking) tend to be a slightly different shade from the factory, but that front bumper is way off in certain lighting. Has it been re-painted?

Also, dumb move for Porsche to go away from a true manual tranny in their new cars.

Yeah, this pics definitely didn't show the true condition. I actually had to make and extra pass with fast Correct on a few areas and there was a few marks that didn't come out 100%. The whole front actually had PPF on it, which was mostly replaced shortly after the owner took delivery in 3M's Pro Series film so a light polish with Opt Hyper Polish is all that was done on those areas to clean/prep the film.

Yeah, they had to repaint the front cover as the clear lifted when they removed the old film. It depends on lighting but it looks closer to OEM in the sun.

Purged with compressed air, thorough vacuuming, hit front mats with the steamer, Leather Master Strong Cleaner and Protection cream on the leather seat portions and steering wheel, RaceGlaze Alcantara Cleaner on center seat inserts, 1Z Premium Cockpit on all the vinyl and dash.

Love the color on that 911 but love the garage even more, WOW! When you took the wheels off for the cleaning I was hoping the owner had some nice mesh wheels to put on it, like some 19" TSW Nuerburing wheels for instance, in that matte bronze, would really set it off.....or some of those modern sized Fuch's.

I wouldn't quite say *all 911's should come with a manual*, especially since the PDK transmission is the absolute best of it's kind. If cash were no object, i'd take a 2012 911 Turbo S over a 2007 911 Turbo ANYDAY!
