Picked up a 2nd generator yesterday.
I sold my 1st one to get a bigger one. Well, it was too big to keep in the bed of my truck.
What I have in the bed of my truck is my water tank, pressure washer, and generator. I do that so I can leave my trailer at home when I go do a simple wash or something that doesn't require the trailer. Saves gas too.

Well, many of you know, bought a power inverter. It wasn't working out, to say the least. I needed to upgrade my electrical system in order to get the inverter to work. New Alternator was close to $400 and a new battery was around $200.
I went back and returned it and picked up a smaller generator from Harbor Freight.
I only paid $30ish after returning the power inverter.

Very small and compact. 1000 W
(Ruler added to show how small it is)

Just needed something to run my vac and maybe my buffer for a little amount of time.

This thing is EXTREMELY QUIET as well.

Wow, it is small for a generator. Harbor Freight always has great deals.

Has a 3 year warranty as well. ANYTHING goes wrong with it, just drain the gas and oil, bring it in, and I get a new one.

I think I might have to make a trip to HF on Friday...

cool, you'll have to let us know how it works out for you. If youve shopped harbor freight at all before, you know theyre stuff is hit or miss, I wouldnt be brave enough to try a generator, but hopefully it gets the job done for you.

Good thing about HF, they will let you return ANYTHING for almost ANY reason. They just put a store near me within the last year, and I cant go in it without walking out with something :)

Exactly. I did not have the box, nor the receipt for the power inverter, yet they looked it up and took it back, no questions asked.
As far as hit of miss, yea, I agree on somethings. There is a 3 year warranty on the generator, so that is a good thing. ANYTHING goes wrong, and I get a new one.

That's the one. I was running my vac off it today. Not a problem. And like I said before, very quiet. I'll be using it for light duty only.
