We just bought my wife a 2013 GMC Terrain. There is a moth stuck in the driver's side tail light. I tried to take a picture but I couldn't get it to show well. It's behind the clear part of the lens. Any suggestions how to get it out? Thank you.

Put a piece of wool in the trunk and see if you can lure him out?

Seriously, you'll probably have to take the lens out and shake it out, hopefully it won't leave too much wing dust in there.

Pull the assembly out and remove the bulbs, then Blow compressed air into it or try and stick a vacc hose over the hole and suck it out. If that don't work, wrap painters tape backwards on a screwdriver and ease it in until the moth sticks to it.

I agree with setek. In fact, be gentle when you do it. Tip it slowly so he doesn't get banged around. They can break into little pieces, particularly if they're old and dry. I'd want to prevent any little broken pieces from getting lodged somewhere. Not sure what your tail light housing looks like, but some have little nooks and crannies where a fragment could easily become lodged.

I tried the vacuum after taking the bulb out and that didn't work. So, I ended up removing the tail light from the tailgate and putting some tape on a screwdriver. Success!! Thanks everyone for their suggestions.
