I don't own a shop, I just do between 10 & 20 cars a year for whomever asks. About 3 wks ago this guy a couple doors down asked me to detail the '15 Camaro SS he'd bought. So I did it for him, & charged him $175. When he was picking it up he asked me how much I'd charge to wash it when it gets dirty? In my 56 years I've never had anyone ask me to wash their car. I laughed, thinking he was kidding, & said, "Oh, I don't know. $25 maybe?" He messaged me last night & said the car was dirty & he wanted me to clean it up. When I got home from work this afternoon it was sitting in my driveway. Had some road spray on it from driving in the rain. I wiped it down with some QD, cleaned the windshield, & put some tire shine on it. Probably took 45 min. I can't imagine it becoming a regular thing, but it just might!
