I'm at my other job, and I just had enough seeing the carnage.

Love Bugs were buried on the bumper of my friend's car for over two weeks, which had not been waxed, sealed, or any of the above.
So I turned my free time at work into a make shift detail project.

In my trunk I pull out:
Pinnacle APC
Blackfire Rinseless Wash
several Microfiber Towels
Xenit Citrus Cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/xenit.html)*
Wolfgang Liquid Seal

*Credit to the infinite wisdom of Mike Phillips, the Xenit Citrus Cleaner has some of the cleaning abilities of a clay bar.

The bugs were pretty bad.

I sprayed the area with APC and let it sit for about 20 minutes. I then, using my creative abilities filled a bad with water and rinseless solution and
gently wiped wet the area, keeping it one to two wipes in a spot at the most. I went through this process twice.

This is during the second time around.

After I was done I hit the bumper with Xenit and wiped, followed by sealing the bumper with liquid seal. I was just going to get the bugs off but um yeah I got carried away again.

BTW Xenit Citrus Cleaner is also good at getting ridding of the lol other guy's wax in the cracks.

Nice job Rod and a generous thing to do with your time and resources. I've been meaning to pick some of that Xenit up

Looks great!

I typically just break out some mineral spirits and a MF Rag.
