On my car, my vent trim has a glossy clear coat and I want to wrap it with carbon fiber. Does it have to be prepped before application? Would a wipe down of 70% rubbing alcohol work? Thanks!

That will work. No other prep will be necessary. Pics when done!

Here is the passenger vent trim wrapped, I did an okay job for the first time, but there are many air bubbles. Will it eventually go away? Can I use meguiars ultimate protectant on it?

Air bubbles can be sorted with a pin and heat gun. If they aren't going away on their own then it is because they are too large and there is too much air. A lot of vinyl these days have what they call Air Drain Technology which makes the bubbles easier to avoid, but if you aren't careful, or if there is something under the vinyl, you can still get them.

Most small bubbels will go away.

If you can park in sun that will speed things up.

I waited 7 days on black 8 " stripes and they finally disappearred.
