Well it is time to order some new drying towels. I use Optimum ONR and have been using Poorboys waffle weave but before ordering the same thing I wanted to check what everyone else has been happy with. Thanks for the input

I always use waffle weave. I'm sure I have a Poorboy's towel somewhere, but I have a WW from just about everywhere at this point.

I switched to the small Griots PFM towel. It makes the job so much faster as it only takes one swipe to dry. Griots Garage PFM Terry Weave Towel, Set of 2 (http://www.autogeek.net/griots-pfm-2pack.html)

I prefer 16x16 plush towels (whatever brand you like) for drying rinseless products. Since I'm working a panel at a time, I don't need more surface area to get things done quickly to prevent water spotting. I find large towels unwieldy; especially after they've soaked up some H2O!

If you want to make the drying process easier, try this; Use any decent MF as a "mop", to both absorb excess material and catch any missed spots. Wring it out as needed, but it's not necessary that it's dry, as it's not the final step. Finish with your drying towel, or spray on a drying aid and wipe dry with a fresh plush MF. Like many others, I have a bunch of drying towels, including Cobra WW and "Dry me a river", but my Griot's 16"x16" PFM's are my first choice.

I find myself only using 16x16 towels for drying these days. Just so much easier to handle. I only use big towels on roofs anymore.

Cobra WW or the new GG PFM's are excellent options.

The Surf City Nano Drying Towel and Meguiars Water Magnet are my 1st choice of the batch for this task.

Do you own a blower? I couldn't think of a better tool to have, especially for bike owners, aside from a good set of towels. Any unit suggested would be more than adequate when pair up with a blow dryer.

Thanks for the replies. I will give the Griots a try.
