I've got to remove the 3M clear bra from the Hood/Front Fenders/Front Bumper of a Ferrari (black of course) 360 Stradale. I'm thinking of using a small Scanuci portable steamer to get some heat to the material without damaging the paint.

Any tips from the "Geeker's" out there. I start tomorrow morning.

You should be able to just get under a corner of it and pull it off. If its semi cold (cool) you may want to use a heat gun or a hair drier to warm it up to soften the adhesive a little.

How long has it been on the car?

It's supposed to be cold tomorrow, but the shop is heated. I suppose it's been on the car a few years at least.

I would for sure warm it up some. But it should come off without a whole lot of troubles. I removed one from a porsche a couple years ago that had been on for about 2 years that pulled off without too much fuss. I did have to warm it up some though.

I'll second that, just add a bit of heat (I used a steamer) and get a corner to lift off and it comes off pretty easily.

Putting the car inside a heated shop and maybe pointing a couple of halogen
lamps at it (they throw off a lot of heat) should make it quite easy to remove
the film.

Once you get a edge off than you should be able to pull the hole thing off.
The film is designed to release easily.
