I am considering to pick up some McKee's 37 Fast Compound. Since I've used UC in the past, how would you guys compare it to UC in:

1. Cut
2. Finish

and in any other ways they maybe different.

Thanks!

Ray

Hmmm, I've been reading in here, and for some reason I don't see too much talk about McKee's Fast Compound. Especially when there is talking of other compounds. Is it because others feel it is inferior to other compounds?

My go to setup for the last 3 cars I did, since I wanted to get some correction but to finish out nice, has been using M205 on a Meg's burgundy pad. I have felt that it has cleaned the paint nicely, then I usually top with WG spritz sealant or the normal WG 3.0.

If this is working for you then keep using it. To quote Mike Phillips, find something you like and use it often.

Raymckees is a great compound that deosnt scour.uc is more of a finer compound. You kinda need both if your going to do side jobs .

Different products entirely.37 cuts faster on moderate swirls and such.uc is for more of a light correction.

ive not used UC, ive always used M105 since it has more cut. I have started using M37 compound and I like that it is thicker and it cuts just as good if not a little bit better then 105 so with that said UC is the least abrasive of the 3

Man! Thank you guys, for clearing that up! I for some reason always thought UC was the greater cut. This helps a ton!
I've got a white dodge truck Saturday. We'll see how she goes.
