Tarminator w/ McKee's bug/tar scrubber.
Interested in trying this Wolfgang Bug Remover Spritz (http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-bug-remover-spritz.html)

For Tar and nasty road film buildup I use Tar-X.
CarPro Tar X Tar & Adhesive Remover (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-tar-x-600ml.html)

For strictly removing adhesives, 3M makes a great cleaner:
3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner, bug and tar remover, adhesive remover, decal remover, tree sap remover (http://www.autogeek.net/3m-adhesive-cleaner.html)
It's not something I'd use on a tar/ bugs since it's very strong and will give you a wicked headache when used in a confined space. As Mike recommended above, Tar-X is a safer alternative and its solvents are naturally based on orange peel extract.
