Hey guys, when you get your vehicle inspected, do you have any advice for screening against people who would act carelessly around your car?

I went to a place that is well known place Firestone, 2 years ago, after looking at positive reviews for oil change, tire rotation, etc. That is the only place I would go to because I like to keep the number of people/companies who touch my car to a minimum if necessary. Well the most recent trip a few days ago, I had greasy paw prints all over the hood area and some greasy prints on the side panels. This was the 1st time I got my car back like that. Ofcourse I was a little uncomfortable. I just detailed my car a week earlier, so I did a waterless and quick detail and inspection around work areas. I don't see anything really noticeable.

Two days later I look at the the side door and the entrance has (albeit really small) but a tiny dent chip. More and more it looks like someone in the car drop a tool causing the issue. Especially considering I detailed my car earlier, I have a good knowledge of defects on my own car. After originally wanting to let it go, I did call and planned on showing it to them Monday morning. I don't have high expectations of accountability, just peace of mind that I spoke up I guess. Looking at the reviews lately from them I noticed the service dropped, with 1 similar story like mine.

Some of the maintenance I'm going to, and should have, learned to do myself. But any suggestions for finding more reliable shops would be appreciated.
