I didn't realize that I don't have enough time to get the products I want for this weekends detail. I will have to wait for next week on that one. I can't afford one day air right now. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I am just doing the outside of a lady's 2007 Ford Taurus which is LIGHT BLUE in color. This color will help out a lot in my choices.

I will be limited to the physical stores, Walmart, Auto Zone, Advance, Oreily's, and Pep Boys. Just looking for something to do a little paint cleaning/light swirl removing, and then topped with my lsp.

Would Megs SwirlX swirl remover work decent, I would be using my DA?

Or are there any better suggestions for something that would be a good 1 step followed by an lsp.

E2K, I think you mentioned 205. Would this have greater or less correction type abilities than the swirl remover.

Thanks guys!

Pick up some ultimate polish or M205. You can source them locally.

pick up some ultimate compound, you can adjust the cut on pad you use. it finishes pretty well on it's own...

Ultimate Polish would be my choice.

I'll also suggest ultimate polish or compound if needed. As stated uc can finish well, but I'd start with polish to see if that does what you want.

Thanks for all the help guys! UP will be the go, per you're recommendations. UC I'll keep on the side just in case. Have good one all!
