Hey guys I used a flex 3401 and griots garage glass polishing pad with glass polish to remove water spots from my auto glass now I have fine scratches and swirls. Any suggestions on how to remove the fine scratches from auto glass?

The recommended products around here are Ceri-glass Polish and the CarPro rayon pads. Combined with lots and lots hard work, you should be able to improve your situation.

I've read threads in which others have reported the same problem you had with the griots glass pads. The consensus is that the CarPro rayon pads work much better.

There are a couple great threads on here about the process. I'll see if I can find them.

Mike Philips has a good thread on here too. Can't seem to find it right now.

All good advice except that a rotary with a 3" pad and the carpro rayon pads will be quicker and even then it's not a quick process...

I strongly advise you do a test spot first. Ceriglass scratches my BMW glass (which is "soft" glass) in the manner you describe.

Hope that your windshield catches a rock and it cracks.
