What do you use on clear coat on the interior wood trim in Lexus vehicles. Cleaner and protection,I'm sure it won't be any one single product.

I would recommend Cquartz leather coating to protect those areas

Just polished up the interior pieces on my dad's 2015 Impala and coated them with it

Meguiars Last Touch Spray Detailer or Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax Anywhere. Spray onto a microfiber towel and softly wipe the woodgrain clean. Flip to a clean side for the final wipe.

I have a 2000 Avalon - pretty sure it's the same protected woodgrain.

I use Meg's Quik Interior Detailer (not Ultimate) followed by D156. Spray on towel, clean, wipe off.

Wax is all you need. The "wood" is real but it's a plastic resin vacuum formed product. What you are touching and protecting is the plastic resin, not the wood.

I use Optimum Leather Protectant for the whole interior (minus the glass, of course). It's great on leather and trim. Treat the "wood" just like Mike Honcho (above) recommended, you're not really dealing with wood finish, your dealing with plastic resin. You'd need a power sander to get to the wood.

I realize the wood has a coating on it,just wasnt sure what it was and how to go about polishing it. It is getting a bit hazy in areas and I don't want to make it worse by using something too aggressive.

Good idea. Least aggressive approach first. Don't think of it as a coating, think of it as thin plastic.

Guz, what polish would you recommend for such "wood" surfaces. I have plenty in my Moms Audi and Dads X5 that have fine scratches all over.
