View Full Version : Used Meguiar's Ultimate Compoud to get rid of fingernail scratches

So this morning I decided to tackle the scratches that were on my Lexus that I just got. I only used a Meg's round foam applicator pad to buff out the scratches. I think it looks great!

I also decided to tackle the small scratches that were on the trunk by where the trunk release button is. On that I decided to use Griot's polisher with an orange 3' pad.

Great job Gio!! Those are nasty scratches by the door handle. UC with a foam applicator pad did a great job. UC is indeed an amazing product!

megs uc is a sleeper product and considering how aggressive it can be, it finishes down very well on many paints...

Yes it does. I really liked how good it worked on the scratches.

Meguiar's #6 was always my "go to" for those scratches underneath door handles. Great job

No. M6 is a cleaner wax and UC is a compound. UC is derived from M105.

I usually don't need more cutting power than what UC offers. I love the entire Ultimate line.

Soft paint can be very forgiving. ;) Nice job, nonetheless.
