Hello all,
When I first joined I believe I was greeted by a person that said that you all talk about other sfuff regarding cars/performance/etc...
I need a used - but in good condition, complete rear end off of a 2003 (preferred) mustang GT. Basically ready to drop in and put my wheels on it.
I've done a search on the internet at autowrecking.com so I'll see if I get any responses. But I need to get one for as cheap as i can do to my being on disability at the moment until my Nuerosurgeon can fix me hopefully. Any help will be extremely appreciated.
Kindest regards to all
Monte

2003 GT use a 8.8 rear end which you can get off any 94-present GT. One of the best places to find used mustang gts (buyer beware though) is corral.net classifieds. If you want a mustang only online junk yard then prestigemustang.com can help. As a matter of fact here is there ebay store with exactly what you wanted eBay Motors: 99-04 Ford Mustang GT 8.8 Rear End Full Assembly (item 110183805070 end time Nov-01-07 09:22:29 PDT) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04-Ford-Mustang-GT-8-8-Rear-End-Full-Assembly_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33731QQihZ001Q QitemZ110183805070QQtcZphoto)
Good luck with the surgery.

wytstang is correct except one thing.

All 99 to 2004 8.8 read ends are 1.5 inches longer then all 94 to 98 models. The reason for this is the 99 and up body is a little wider.

Trust me. I have a 99 Cobra with a 2001 GT 8.8 solid axle. I did the swap because I didn't like the IRS for drag racing! :D

1.5 longer, learn something new every day. Well there you have it. And yes IRS sucks lol.
