View Full Version : How to remove wax etc from trim

When polishing and waxing I manage to get white residue on black plastic or rubber trim. Is there a product that cab assist in removal

You could also try an APC and a damp microfiber towel, then just scrub it good

Meg's D114 is a good choice too... If polishing you should tape off trim. Polishes can stain rubber and some plastic trims...

Mothers Back to Black Heavy Duty Trim Cleaner, best car wax remover plastic trim (http://www.autogeek.net/best-car-wax-remover-plastic-trim.html)

X2on this one. Used it on fords textured black that had Menz 400 dried on it for months. Little effort with the brush & it came clean. The brush is a godsend for the textured plastic.
