Ok, I know I'm being picky but I just can't take it anymore. I went through a bottle of ONR-Shine and love the product (and concept) but the smell is getting to me. During today's wash the sickly sweet artificial Blueberry stink was making me nauseous. I put my ONR-Wax on the shelf for a similar reason - overly perfumed lemon-lime (or what ever it is) odor. I'm interested in trying Uber, but I hear that it has a similar "sweet & overpowering" scent as well. Seriously, it was bad today - I would rather have smelled Iron-X!

Is there any Rinseless Wash product out they that isn't overpowering with artificial scents?

Thanks.

Well Ultima Waterless Wash has a slight lemon-lime smell but I think it's light and pleasant, I'm not sure if you'd be overly sensitive to that one as well.

To me ONR and Meg's D115 are the least fragrant and work well

We use juicy fruit for Trifecta and the Detail Spray. The fragrance is not overpowering when mixed as a waterless or rinseless.

McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax is not super strong smelling. To me it kind of smells like Banana Runts candy. You may want to try a sample first though.

Uber would probably be to much for you. Good stuff though.

Megs D115 has a somewhat artificial fruity smell. It's not bad, but if you find that sort of smell unapealing you may not like it.

It's Megs D114 Rinse Free Express Wash [Rinseless Wash] that has a true clean non artificial scent. It simply smells like clean. No fake tooty fruity stuff in it.

I love the fruity smells! In fact green ONR waterless with wax is my favorite.

I've got no problem with scents smelling like fruits, but there's a fine line in nailing it, or having it smell like medicine.

I'll suggest you give Meguiar's D114 a try.

Aroma Description:
"benzaldehyde-like"
http://www.dealergoodies.com/MSDS/Meguiars/D114.pdf

Note:
"Aroma Strength", IMO, is dependent
upon it being full-strength in its original
gallon container...
versus it's various dilution ratios while being
stored in a variety of RTU dispensing-vessels.

Ergo:
Very slight hint of burnt almond,
or Maraschino cherry (they both
have that "benzaldehyde aroma").

But...come to think of it:
so does HCN!

Sometimes I find that the smell of D114 is a bit much, but it is more of a cleaner/chemical smell with a hint if fruit. It is not offensive though.

Sounds like D114 should be my next try.

The only one that really makes me ill, is Menzerna FG400. My go told me to get rid of it because it stinks up the garage, and the pads.

But I won't!

Best of luck in your quest. I understand some people are very sensitive to certain odors.

D114 smells like fruit punch to me. I like it. D115's scent is really overpowering to me. Uber smells like cherry and not too strong. ONRWW smells ok not great. Rupes Rapid Cleaner Detailer has no scent at all but not sure if you can dilute it to use as a Rinseless wash.

I can't wait until someone comes out with an iron removing rinseless wash. That'll definitely keep the wife away from the garage. No more "Are you done yet?"
