What are these orange water spots?

The weather here in north/central Florida has been wet and nasty for over a week. Last weekend I detailed the truck and put on a coat of carnauba paste to boost my sealant. Finally got some sun today so I decided to wash the truck. It was extremely dirty and had black streaks all over from the rainy driving. I discovered these nasty orange water spots that I cannot seem to get rid of easily. I tried some quick detail spray with no luck. I rubbed some carnauba on them which removed a little and then I broke out the clay but they are still there. I do not want to have to re-polish the truck if I can help it. It's a daily driver so the less clear I remove the better.5128651287

My daughter has the same thing on her silver Acura in Wisconsin. She parks under some birch tree that has aphids, which attract all sorts of bugs because of the aphid poop.

Those things are terrible stubborn. I bought some Megs white wax to use on it until I can coat it.

But I have no clue what they come from.
