I pulled the wheels off my 2 week old car and detailed the wheels, wells and brake calipers. My wife just rolled her eyes and called me an Autogeek.

:iagree: With the way those wheels are your are doing the best thing for the car. Wheels with those wide spacings are tough to clean and keep cleaned, so all is good. What do you use on the rotors to keep them clean. My brother has a 2001 Mustang GT and you can see rust on the rotors. How do you clean the rotors, so they look like brand new? What do you do to clean the wheels on the car as well? I want to clean the wheels but not have to put in alot of work to do it, also what wheel cleaner would be safe to use? I have heard some wheel cleaners have harsh ingredients.

Very nice Gary!.

How can you not do that, those babies were calling you I am sure "Gary, come clean and protect me".. ha ha

The fruits of your labor pay in a few ways...it looks great and sure will make cleaning less of an issue!

Yeah...your an Autogeek! However, that is a good thing! I love it, looks great! There is nothing worse than seeing someone drive around and their front wheels are 10 times darker than their back ones. Clean wheels make a difference IMO. Yours look great... I love this shot! Thanks for sharing!

Being a 'geek is not a bad thing!! We see stuff that others don't. While the small details may not be immediately visible, they add to the overall "holy sh*t" response when the car is seen.

Thanks guys, I'm still not convinced I'm an Autogeek. Well, I might be a Semi-Autogeek. ;)
:buffing:

:offtopic:AL417, I do need to clean my garages. There's way to much junk out there. :D I miss not having a basement.

steveh4263 - The car is only 2 weeks old so the rotors still look new. I hate the way rotors rust and I'm sure these will not look so good before long. I would get some ceramic composite rotors for the car if they were available just so they don't rust. The ceramic rotors are also half the weight of steel rotors. P21s makes a good wheels cleaner works good and is not real harsh like some others.
