Waiting times for DG105 and waxing

been at it hard, going around my truck one panel a day at a time. Geez seems like by the time I get it done. it'll be time to do it again.
anyways after all my claying, compounding and polishing, I applied the DG PBA and let it haze, then put a coat of DG 105 over it. I want to put another coat of the 105 on it, how long should I wait??? then how long should I wait to put my Natty's Blue Wax over it??
Is a couple of hours between each good enough, I have no garage, it rains twice a day, so I'm trying to finish up the last steps quickly.....Feed back please

You should wait 12-24 hours between applications to let it fully cure.

that's long time to wait for the 2nd coat of DG105.. I guess I can put my cover over it tonight. I also have to wait another 12 hours before the wax..
How do you guys handle a detail for a customer like that?

Thats a good question. I think the majority only put on one coat. I dont use DG though. The sealant I use is ready for another coat within 20 minutes.

The information I received from Jerry at DG is that if you use the 610 (PBA) then you can immediately apply either another coat over the 601/105 duo or top it with AW immediately. The only time you need to wait is if you DO NOT use the 601..that's exactly why I use it, it saves a lot of time.

Yup..but Jerry did say that applying most Carnubas will eliminate a %'age of 105. Collinite is the best choice for not doing that, according to him. A 2nd coat of 105 or periodic applications of AW will give all the protection you need.

Don't know about the ez creme..I follow it up with DG 105 and then AW and get fantastic results. I tried TOL's trade secret and wasn't impressed..AW looked better, IMO

FWIW, on my PU, I did 601/105, waited a week and did another 105, and now AW once per month. Seems to be a good system.

After a while, I will throw on some Liquid Souveran just for grins. It doesn't last long but looks great and feels like butter--just glides on. On silver paint its terrific but the durability definitely lacks. To me, its more of a time killer when I just want to play with the paint.

Seems like the DG 521 leaves the paint nearly as slick, is easier to apply, and cleans the paint too.

Once a month I'll pop on the AW which combines well with the 521. Seems like the whole DG line meshes well which works for me 'cause I'm a fan of many DG products.
