Hi, my name is Ray, and I have been an detailing enthusiast since I've gotten my first car 13 years or so ago (+ or - 1 year, I cant remember anymore!). I am in the process of starting up a side detailing business mainly focusing on production work initially, but will like to reach a higher point level day. I've been reading a lot of Mike Phillip's post regarding things about starting a business, techniques, as well as seen most of his videos that teach technique, and eventually I just had to join the forums to be a part of the community instead of a lurker!
I have an Mechanical Engineering background with some R&D Engineering work experience in the critical surface finishing field, so I have worked with a substantial amount of abrasives and polishes for glass, plastic, automotive paint, and various metals. I pick and choose my products based on this knowledge.
I hope to be able to further increase my knowledge by learning from the vast amount of professional knowledge as well as contribute my experiences to help others out!
