'05 Montana lower body pastic

What would you use to protect the lower body molding on an ’05 Montana?
The finish seems to be painted but has a course texture to it. Kind of like no clear coat.

The regular sheet metal is going to get the Zaino treatment next time. Would this be appropriate for the plastic?

I would hate to stain it with a wax or polish product but it does need some protection.

Zaino doesnt stain trim, so try it first and see if it works out.
