How to clean Coated interior??

Just applied PBL vinyl/leather coating to all the surfaces.

What's the best cleaner to use that doesn't remove the coating or break it down?

Microfiber and water. You should be able to wipe things down now that you have coated it.

Microfiber and rinseless wash. Same set up as exterior wash. Except, I wring the MF out to use it damp.

I also like Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer for general light cleaning. Has a nice scent to it and won't change the appearance of any interior surfaces.

But being it has cleaners, does it start attacking the coating (think APC on paint coatings)?

Look up the MSDS for QID... it is mostly water.

Regarding your APC comment... APC does not "attack" paint coatings. It cleans them. I assume you're referring to the change in hydrophobic properties on paint coatings when using some cleaners... this is due to the change in surface tension, not because the coating has disappeared.

To quote wikipedia... "Surface tension is the elastic tendency of a fluid surface which makes it acquire the least surface area possible. "... It is a fluid property. High surface tension yields pretty beads (water covering less area), while lower surface tension results in a flat appearance (water covering more area).

Surfactants (found in nearly every cleaner or soap) will lower surface tension, which is why many of us may think that by simply spraying an APC or heavy concentration of shampoo onto a surface that protection is gone, but in reality the only thing we know for sure is that the surface tension was reduced. There is no way to know if the protection (coating, wax, or sealant) is actually removed without some advanced testing..... but that is a can of worms all on its own.

I'm with Hump, shouldn't need anything more than a damp microfiber. The PBL interior coating is really nice stuff...

It is, only thing is, I don't think I'll get as many cars as they say. It takes more then two sprays on a panel to spread it evenly. Maybe it's the heat (I'm working in100 degree weather but in a garage with a swap cooler) or just the vehicle Size(Lincoln Navigator)

Nonetheless I love the way PBL looks/applies.
