Always a good feeling when my Shelby snags a trophy at a show. But it's almost as good when a car that I detailed wins one! I did this 04 Mystichrome Cobra last year, & it was the most abused paint I'd ever worked on. Previous owner had put 150k+ miles on it using it as a DD to his job at a gravel pit. The paint was so flat & dull that I had to polish it once just to see the swirls & scratches, which were everywhere. Current owner takes care of it & treats it right.
Note: I'll be doing the Competition Orange Cobra in the coming weeks. Owner just bought it & was talking yesterday about getting it repainted. I told him to let me do what I do & he'll see it doesn't need to be painted!
