I currently own a Rupes 21 and it's going on 3 years old, love it(other then it stopping on curvy panels) My brothers want to learn how to polish paint. Been looking at the Flex 3401 as a second polisher along side my Rupes. I would be giving my Rupes to my brother while I teach him so I want to get another polisher for me( I'd make him help me on big DD SUVs.

Kills two birds with one stone as I want a back up DA polisher any way.

So finally to what I've been meaning to ask. What would go great along side my Rupes 21?

-Rupes 21 Mark II

-Flex 3401

- GG DA 21

TIA!

3401 all day. Absolutely love this thing, and the pink one for like $40-50 off was the kicker for me. Idc what color it is lol.

get the flex. if you're going to get another large throw DA, the G21 would be a great choice...

I upgraded from a Torq 10FX DA to the Flex 3401 and will never look back. The Flex has helped me become more efficient and makes the job easier.

It takes a big man to use a pink polisher, and I admit,I'm a big man. X2 on who cares what the color is. 3401 is the right choice.

Let's be honest, who's going to see me working with it anyway? My wife? Big whoop.. My tools/product go back into the storage shed once I'm done anyway, so the client won't see that I'm polishing with pink flex XD XD

and if it really bothers you grab some cheap vinyl and wrap it as a weekend project.

My first polsiher is the 3401, if i had to replace it, it will be the 3401. It has never failed me and i didnt personally feel like it had any learning curve. It just worked great and fast. Only other experience i had was pneumatic tools (rotary and da)... I dont have access to a compressor anymore... So.. 3401!

+1 for 3401 as your only polisher.
However, I like the Rupes more since I have a GG, I found that the Rupes suits me better :)
