Please, someone, find the reason for the discontinuation of Adapt. I'm really curious.

My guess is the AAT twins is why it's being discontinued. Just sucks that to get the results of Adapt in one step a person now either has to do a two step or mix some Cut and Polish. I've tried mixing 70%Cut and 30%Polish and had great results.

Had a sample bottle of it. Once you see what you can do with HD polish and a heavier pad; Adapt becomes....obselete in my opinion.

Makes no sense to me. And use Speed instead? Did that guy actually really say that.

Aren't 3D's AAT products (501 & 502) supposed to be the same thing? Or possibly even better versions of HD Adapt? I've heard nothing but positives about both the polish & compound but have not used them personally. I've been meaning to pick some up now that they're offered in 8 oz. containers.

From my understanding it seems like it was designed more for rotary, and the price hike from adapt never made me try it
Plus never had an issue with Adapt, it always had enough cut too
I quit using carpro reflect and just used adapt with softer pad and it Finished better then Reflect ontop of better gloss.

Yeah, I agree about the Speed comment being stupid. If you want a polish use a polish, not an AOI like Speed. I don't think he was thinking clearly.

Depending on paint type, speed and the right pad can get the job done and if you can add protection at the same time, boom! Top it with poxy and bam!

Yeah but Speed can't correct like Adapt. They are really two different products. I think this is a HUGE mistake on 3D / HD to discontinue Adapt.

I agree. I finally bought a bottle a month ago based off your recommendation I saw in another thread and was impressed with the results. Alas the hunt continues...

I was going top buy a bottle in literally two days after seeing so much praise about the product. I thought it would be my go to product. I guess not.

Just ordered the last gallon a competitor had. Winning. This is my go to product.
