I have spent hours pouring over this Forum and have narrowed my LSP choices to 2; Dura Gloss or Four Star UPP. For those in the "know" I will be using this on a WHITE 2016 Jetta GLI, my goal is gloss/wet look more so that overall durability. Recommendations based on experience?
Thanks.

I have tried neither (sounds promising i know ;) ) settling myself on 845 on my single stage white paint..
BUT to date i have heard more positives on Duragloss... and it was going to be my other choice IF the 845 didn't continue to impress on so many levels...

I also went down the route of Souveran (liquid wax and subsequent spray wax) and whilst the gloss was very nice it definately darkened the paint making it look more yellow.... which the sealants tend not to do.. personally i prefer the more crisp white so that steered me on that one too..

Although both Dura Gloss (which one),
or Four Star UPP are fine products...but
I wish you hadn't finalized the narrowing
of your search before you had taken into
consideration:
Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Paste Wax, high melt polymer car wax, Finish care auto wax (http://www.autogeek.net/finish-kare-1000p-wax.html)

Note:
Never mind Finish Kare 1000P's
Hi-Temp Paste Wax nomenclature:
It is a most excellent Sealant... :dblthumb2:

Looks very good, and thanks for chiming in. I have reviewed many for your posts. Question is can I substitute the Blackfire with Mothers Carnauba as I have some left over?

Appreciate the comment, I used Colonite but just thought there may be a glossier option.

It doesn't get any wetter than this or making metallic POP!

Wow, that looks great. Odd it isn't on Auto Geek but on the other site? Aren't the 2 the same Company?

This was done at least 8 months after the the Blackfire products had long faded away.

This stuff for a spray wax is amazing. Easily 2 months of durability for something that take minutes to apply and remove.

Yes, that's why I'm able to post it and share. PA products are awesome. Don't let the small size fool you. I did my whole Rogue and barely used 1-6th to at the most 1/8 of that small bottle. And it's bullet proof.

With white, getting a decent gloss has IME been a lot more down to the paint condition itself..

ie getting it truly clean and polsihed to as higher level as you are able.. (yours may well already be in great shape??)

This made a lot of difference to mine.. I ended up wetsdanding (and denim pad compunding) the bloody thing to get there.. then through the polishes; Scholl S3, Scholl S20 black, and finally jewelling with Car Pro Reflect,.. then a coat of poorboys white diamond... then finally the Colinite 845...

I am now relatively confident that I have done about as much as i can to optimise the white paint on mine...

You are 100% correct. 90% prep and 10% wax/sealant/coating
