Damn water spots. I rinsed uber with pressure washer hooked up to cr spotless in sunlight and I got some big standing water spots. I won't rinse with the pressure washer again. I wiped it down with uber helped but can still see in sunlight. I wish I had a bigger garage. Sorry I'm venting

But if you had your pressure washer hooked up to CR spotless and the GPM of your pressure washer is within the required limit, I wouldn't think it would leave water spots. Is it possible that you need to change the cartridge for your CR spotless?

:iagree:

I think the maximum GPM is 2 or 2.5, anymore than that and the water is passing too fast thru the filters.

I am wondering. Would using a water filter designed for RVs help in reducing or preventing water spots? Was at Walmart this week and saw this filter selling for 35 CAN$. Listed everything it filtered and in the list was minerals. I almost purchased it but I wasn't sure it could do the job.

Any of you ever tried this or used something similar?

I'm not certain but I think that the pressure washer didn't rinse as well as just using the hose and possibly didn't rinse off all of the soap (uber) I'm just not gonna wash outside anymore

Nah...no PW for rinseing:
Causes too much "turbulence".

You always want the maximum benefits
that the Marangoni Effect can provide.
(Some might even say: 'laminar flow'.)

FWIW, I've used my PW, that produces about 1500 PSI & 2 GPM, hooked up the CR Spotless, for final rinsing many times and then let the car dry in the hot South FL sun with no water spots.
