Today's detail went well I tackled this bad boy on my own today took 8 hours but enjoyed every min of it. Plus he tipped me $50.00 so $400.00 in the bank today not a bad day.

Yea sorry as most of you know I post more information and more photos when I make a topic but unfortunately the customer tired me up and in the middle of taking photos and i forgot to continue to take them :( but didn't want to leave this out so posted it anyway.

I began with a simple pre-wash followed the classic two bucket method with CG extreme wash and wax (purple)

After that I began drying the vehicle by and using towel 16x16 blue MF drying towels and a metro vac and blow with a trolling and 12ft vacuum attachment blowing out all the hard to get spots.

Then I hit the entire truck with the CG Og Clay bar (yellow) and a 70% alcohol water based solution stripping the truck from all old compounds, polish, and waxes giving me a fresh clean smooth vehicle to work on.

On this truck I didn't bother tapping anything off so I began compounding with Meg's 105 with my MT300 using a ultra cut wool pad removing all swirls and scratches and then flowed up with HD speed using a thin foam polishing pad (black).

IMHO, I wouldn't publish what you make per jobs including tips or profit.
There are many reasons that info should be discreet.

It's ok to have prices "starting at...."advertised on your packages, but the final quote and job should be between you and the customer.

Just my $0.02....

No worries, I just approach the forums as if my customers read my posts, and I offer them discreet service, i.e. blocking out their license plates.
Nothing personal, just offering some suggestions. At the end of the day, it's your business. :)
