I'm trying to decide between these two products but would like some input on how they perform. I'm looking for an interior dash and plastic panel protectant but don't want something that will leave any residue or shine. Will be using this on my 2016 GMC Sierra interior.

If you want zero residue or shine, 1Z is the way to go. 303 leaves just a hint of shine.

At 25% off. Get them both! Every time ag throws a sale I end up buying something. I have several bottles of the cockpit premium and the 303 and several other products. Personally I like the cockpit premium. Phil

As others have said, Einzsett is what you're looking for. I've been using it for years.

Where does CG Silk Shine fall in this group?

Silk shine is definitely more shiny than those listed in this post. I've just recently started using it, and after being shine-free, I'm really enjoying it, I have to admit. It's not super shiny, like old school Armor All, but has a really nice deep dark sheen.

I wanted to add, for the OP, Meguiars quick interior Detailer is really close to the cockpit premium, in my opinion. Not sure the 1Z is worth the xtra $.

I took a look at 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium Interior Plastic Cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/1z-einzett-cockpit-premium.html) and saw no mention of a protectant function on the AG page. Apparently the same product in a different bottle (http://www.1z-usa.com/products/cockpit-premium-16-9-oz.html) (?) is listed to have some protectant properties on the manufacturer's page, but I noticed that they list Vinyl-Rubber Extra (http://www.1z-usa.com/products/vinyl-rubber-extra-16-9-oz-500-ml.html) specifically as a protectant. It might be worth investigating further if sun protection is important for your use.

I can only speak to 303 and its easy to use and leaves the "right" look on your dash and is controllable, let me explain. If and when you apply this to your dash and its too shiny for "your" tastes, just simply buff it down. IMO its never been shiny or I would never use it, but some people are different. The use of some RW pre-wash or quick detailer can knock it down some as well but I find that in a couple days it tones down a bit, again, everyone is different.

303 is also a locally operated business here, so I'm a bit biased and besides, they're been making great products for a long time!

Depends on how much you cut it.

Forget all of the above and go with this:

Ultima Interior Guard Plus 12 oz., interior protectant, rubber & vinyl protectant, dash dressing (http://www.autogeek.net/ultima-interior-guard-12.html)

It leaves no residue, doesnt change appearance, no shine etc.

I used the 303 and how it looks depends on the surface its being applied to. For instance, on a BMW Z4 doors and dash, it darkened the appearance but did not leave the gloss. On a Dodge Magnum dash it did leave a satin finish.

You cut it? What dilution? I really like this stuff but it's maybe a tad too shiny. Love the scent and how it darkened everything slightly.
