I'm looking into purchasing an airbrush for some small paint touch up jobs and possible applying coatings to tires or wheels. I'm looking at getting a "kit" with a small dedicated compressor so I can easily take it anywhere. Not looking for the cheapest option, but also not wanting to spend $400+ on it either. Any suggestions?

I have a old Badger 350 that has paid for its' self many times over. If I remember, paid something like $25 for a 'kit'. But like I said that was back quit a few years (30ish).

Single action, easy to use and clean. I must say, I've never used it for anything other than paint. So, I have no idea if or how well it would work on tire coatings.

One nice thing about an airbrush, is they don't require a lot of air volume nor pressure. You can do spot spray many time without having to do any masking. The 'after paint polishing' removes any overspray.

I have only practiced with mine. Got it at Canadain Store on sale for $99.00 on sale. It works real well, but I have not tried on my DD. It seems easy enough. I would be very interested in anyones experiences for touch up work.
