Well over the weekend, I got a call to do Seminole Detail's first full detail, inside and out. SO I was more than happy to oblige :)

The patient was a 2004 Gold Honda Odyssey. The paint on the outside was so hard to see any swirl marks because of the light color and immense amounts of flake. I was able to angle my eye with the sun light however and see where they were. The van received a wash, clay, polish and wax.

Wash Process:
A rather strong concentration of Megs Gold Class with the AG Wash bucket and Schmitt :) [two bucket method]
Dried with the Guzzler.

After Wash and clay, already looking shinyer ! :)

After my new megs clay turned black, I went to my favorite combo with the PC. DP Super Swirl Remover and Orange Pad @ speed 6. This combo just amazes me every time. With just about 3-4 drops of polish the size of a small pea polishes about 2.5 x 2ft area so nicely. I am sad to see that my favorite polish was discontinued, but I have lots of it :D

After Polish with PC and Waxed with DP MaxWax via pc. I use the microfiber gloves to spread the wax on the grey pad. This way, you can usually wax the hood, and most of the car. Make sure to use polishing pad conditioner a la XMT series if possible.

I then wiped the van down with Crystal Mist old formula.

The interior was cleaned with dilluted woolite 4:1 water / woolite. The seats were cleaned with the Porter Cable + leather brush @ speed 5 with woolite. Just knocks the grime right out. The carpets were cleaned with the PC and woolite. Seats were conditioned with PB Leather Stuff and vinyl surfaces dressed with PB Natural look.

Without further adieu, I present Seminole Details first and very happy customer who I have another big job to do on a tahoe coming up :D

Enjoy:

It turned out pretty nicely :D Although there are some spots that ARE NOT coming out without some sort of industrial cleaning. Example is the spot in the final door picture under the seat... grr.. I have no idea what that is.. I think its brown sharpie. Doesnt feel like coke and didnt scrub out like it. It was much bigger.

Thanks for the comment :)

A couple of cleaners I've used in the past to remove sharpie ink is GoJo hand cleaner (the one without the grit), Goop (in the paint section at most stores). Goop will remove dried latex paint. Just rinse well and extract.

I know what you mean. What amazes me is, someone would put their kid in the back with a sharpie, cherry cool aid and all the other wonderful things kids like?:D That's when we come into play and $$$$$$. For the right price I'll clean anything up.:D I might be easy but I'm not cheap.:D

CORRECTION, I said it was called Goop, that's wrong, it's called Goo Gone. Sorry for the bad info. I have no idea where I got Goop from.

I didnt charge as much as I wanted. I have to do a few jobs cheaper to prove I can do work. Everyone sees that Im younger and they expect a half ass job. So once I get a portfolio behind me, prices will go up substantially in the higher packages. On this one I charged about 120$.

Owner was ecstatic but cheap. Didnt even give me a dollar tip :p He tried talking me down past 120 and I just said no. I do quality work and I will charge you for it.
