Recently purchased some chrome accent pieces for the truck. All of them look really good except the fuel door.Really don't know who to remove it without damaging paint. It was just a cover with 3m tape and pressed on.Any suggestions would be appreciated.By the way been using 303 on the dash that stuff really looks great almost as good as black again.Well thanks again.Scott.Also not really sure if this is where it should go.Sorry if wrong.

Apply 3M Adhesive Remover, place dental floss on corner of fuel door and slowly pull from top-bottom until fuel door is detached

Is that a blue painters tape? Blue painters tape does'nt leave adhesive?

I agree with TOGWT, also you can try a hair dryer or heat gun on low setting , then use your glue remover.

Thanks TOGWT.Great idea with the floss.Chrome cover came right off with no damage, very little glue residue. Thanks again.Hope it stops raining it's knocking leaves onto the truck and driving me nuts!!!!!!
