Question about aging liquids???

I have a few bottles of polishes and glazes that are kind of thin in consistency. Are they no longer any good?

shake them vigorously and then check the consistency. also, try using some of it and see if there are any negative effects (or doesn't perform like it use to) and if so, then toss it...
